A Letter from Brian & Maryann
Hello from Montana! We are a fun and financially stable blended family. It’s been our dream to grow our family through adoption! Maryann was adopted herself, and she hopes to share this unique bond. We both work in healthcare and will promise to fill your child’s life with love, laughter, education, and support.
We would be grateful to connect with you and are open to sharing letters, photos, and visits, if you’d like.
We met online 9 years ago and have been inseparable ever since our first date! When we married, Maryann had 3 older children, and due to complications after having her son, we knew we would not be able to have a biological child together. We immediately discussed adoption and we’re excited to share our blessings with a boy or girl of any racial background.
We are happiest doing things our family or kids enjoy. We value education, hard word, honesty, and quality time with our loved ones. Our work schedules will allow us lots of time with our child, and Maryann plans to stay home once we adopt.
Together we like to:
• Hike, picnic, swim, and fish (anything outdoors!)
• Take neighborhood walks
• Play board games
• Travel, especially to go snorkeling or explore new states
• Attend our kids’ sporting events
• Go to concerts local festivals, art shows, and craft fairs
• Get fresh produce & flowers at the Farmers’ Market
I love my work as a Registered Nurse Care Manager, giving care and education to patients on how to manage their health. My hours are flexible, and I’m excited to stay at home with our baby after we adopt.
What Brian Loves About Maryann: Maryann is positive about everything, and always looks for the good in everyone. She’s a very loving wife and mother, always going the extra mile for us. As a nurse, she’s naturally compassionate and nurturing. My wife is also funny, and always up for adventure. She’s the most amazing woman I know!
• Baking for family and friends (she’s the family birthday cake baker!)
• Hiking in the mountains
• Decorating for holidays
I am a Pharmacist and am passionate about educating my patients about their medications and helping them with their health needs.
What Maryann Loves About Brian: Brian is kind, thoughtful, loyal, and intelligent. He always makes sure our family is taken care of. Brian is an amazing family man! He accepted my children as his own and has been a good role model for them. I know he dreams of being called “Dad” by our future child one day. Brian enjoys music, cars, museums, and art. He will pass down a love for learning and hard work, and the joy of making new friends.
• Learning to play guitar
• Yardwork & home projects
• Bike rides
• Hiking in the mountains
• Rainy days with board games & epic fantasy movies, like Lord of the Rings
We live in a five bedroom home in the beautiful Montana mountains. Our house has plenty of room to play, a spacious yard for a swing set and sand box, and space for hosting family and friends. There’s a room next to our bedroom ready for us to decorate for our future child.
We love having wild life, hiking and biking trails, forests, and lakes all around us. Our neighborhood always has young children playing and riding bikes together. We also live near parks, playgrounds, splash pads, and restaurants.
All of our children are excited about our plans to adopt! Our daughters are in college and out of the house. Taylor is smart and organized, and is studying pre-Med. She’s a helpful big sister, always giving advice or a listening ear to her siblings. Emily is athletic, bubbly, friendly, and outgoing. She plays volleyball while studying interior design, and she’s always looking out for her brother and sister.
Our son, Trevor, is in high school and lives with us half the time. He is sweet, silly, smart, and kind. Trevor enjoys football and track and is great with his younger cousins. He will be a great big brother!
Together we like to:
• Home cooked meals together
• Quiet time on the couch watching TV and talking about our day
• Playing games
• Watching movies
• Church on Sundays
Our families live very close and we love getting together for birthdays and holidays, and barbecues and games. Brian also has a brother in Oregon, and we see them a few times a year. Everyone is excited and supportive about our adoption plans, and the nieces and nephews can’t wait to play with a new cousin!
We promise to surround your child with unconditional love and support, to teach the importance of faith, education, and family. We will share fun times, laughs, and vacations, and give him or her every opportunity to go for their dreams and interests. As parents, we will provide a stable home where your child will be free and safe to grow into the person they are meant to be.
Your child will grow up knowing our family’s adoption story, and we will always talk about you with love. We will teach him or her about their heritage, and pass down respect for self and others. If you’re open to it, we welcome an ongoing relationship with you, including updates and visits.
With love, Brian & Maryann

|More About Our Family|
|What adoption means to us|
Maryann’s own adoption has shown us what a beautiful opportunity and blessing adoption can be for a child and a family. She has a friendship with her birth family, and we keep in touch with them, and even visit each other a few times a year. We would love to embrace this kind of connection with you, throughout your child’s life, if you’d like that. To us adoption is a way to grow a family, even beyond adding a child to our lives.
Our Christian values shape who we are. We attend church as a family and pray together. Our church is family-centered and we look forward to raising a child to enjoy Sunday school and Bible camps, like we did as kids.
