A Letter from David & Leanne

Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We are an active, Christian family who looks forward to filling your child’s days with fun, laughter, and a supportive family. We believe that we are called to adopt and would love to share our hearts and home with another child. We both work hard and will provide a safe and financially secure home for your child. We would love to hear from you and the hopes you have for your child!

About Us

We met at a bible study that a mutual friend was hosting. We immediately began talking as if we had known each other for years and now have been married for 7 years. We both have a strong desire to expand our family through adoption again and our son, Paxton, would love to have a sibling.

We enjoy spending time with family, friends, our son, and each other. We love many of the simple things in life like playing in the backyard with Paxton, tending to our vegetable and rose garden, exploring new places in beautiful California, and being involved in our church. We look forward to bringing your child along on our daily adventures and sharing new life experiences with him or her.

About Leanne

Leanne is a caring, loving, and committed mother and wife. Her compassion is evident in her career as a teacher, implementing technology into the classroom benefiting both teachers and students. Leanne loves seeing our son, Paxton, light up whenever she’s teaching him something new. Once we adopt, she’ll be a stay at home mom for our children. I’m so grateful to Leanne for creating a wonderful home environment, where we all thrive and enjoy life to the fullest.

Leanne’s perfect day is to garden and then relax in the backyard with her family. She’s so excited to watch your child grow and learn, especially teaching him or her all the skills they’ll need as they grow.

About David

David and I balance each other out so well. He’s a loving husband and a giving father. He wants to take care of everyone around him and works hard to provide for our family as an executive director of an assisted living facility.

David likes to work in the garden with me and Paxton, play video games, and spend time with friends and family. He is a wonderful father to Paxton and celebrates every one of Paxton’s accomplishments. David is looking forward to sharing life experiences and encouraging your child to find his or her passions in life.

Our Home in California

We live in a 5 bedroom home in central California. There is a nice sized playroom for Paxton and our future children as well as plenty of indoor and outdoor space to run around and grow in. Our backyard is very large with a yearlong vegetable garden and fruit trees on one side and a rose garden on the other.

Our diverse neighborhood is next to several schools and parks. Our small town is slowly expanding as more and more families with young children move into the neighborhood. We love seeing kids just being kids outside either riding bikes or playing with each other.

Our Family

We are blessed to have a close relationship with both sides of our families. Most of our family lives close enough to enjoy many weekends and holidays together. Every May, our families get together to celebrate birthdays. On Thanksgiving, Leanne’s mom always gives everyone in the family a small Christmas gift to get us excited for the upcoming season. We are so lucky to have close friends and family that are excited to welcome another child through adoption.

Our Son, Paxton

Paxton is our loving and happy 2-year-old boy. He is definitely a people person and loves entertaining everyone around him. We know that he will be a wonderful brother to your child and we are excited to watch their sibling bond as they grow up. We feel so honored to have been chosen by Paxton’s birth family.

Our Promise

We promise to love and raise your child in a caring, Christian home where he or she will be taught about God’s love. Your child will be given opportunities to pursue his or her interests, receive a quality education, and the opportunity to attend college. Your child will know his or her adoption story and about you. We are open to staying in contact with you through letters, photos, and visits if you desire. If you would like to learn more about us, please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.
