A Letter from Regis & Ashlee
Hi from Sunny Florida!
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us. Our lives are centered around our faith and we feel confident that the Lord has called us to welcome our first child through adoption. We love spending time with family & friends, kayaking, going to the beach, traveling, and relaxing at home. We are thrilled to share all of this and more with our child! We are open to photos, letters, and planned visits at the level that you are most comfortable with.
We first met in 2014 at a mutual friend’s wedding. Regis asked Ashlee to dance and the rest is history! About a year into dating, Regis was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully it was highly treatable, and we are happy to say that he has been cancer-free for over 6 years and is considered an official survivor! We knew if we could get through that together, that we could get through anything! After we got married in 2016 we were met with fertility issues, but knew God had a different plan to grow our family. We are overjoyed at the opportunity to become first-time parents through adoption!
We work and play in sunny Florida! We both work at the same location, Regis at our church & Ashlee at the church’s Christian school. The wonderful staff and church members are our second family! In our free time, we enjoy fun-filled beach days, kayaking in beautiful springs, riding bikes, and just relaxing at home. We also love to travel and explore new places together. We look forward to sharing a life filled with faith, family, and fun with our child!
Regis is a wonderful man who finds the good in everything around him. His job as Director of Children’s Ministries at our church gives him the opportunity to interact with kids each week, and he truly loves it. In his free time, Regis enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, and anything outdoors. One prominent character trait of Regis’ that stands out to me the most is his joyful attitude. He finds joy in the Lord, rarely complains, encourages others, and is always there to support his family and friends. Regis is going to make a wonderful dad! He is really looking forward to family camping trips with our child and teaching them about God’s love.
Ashlee is loving, responsible, and can make friends with anyone she speaks to. I believe her love for people comes from her love for God. In her free time, Ashlee enjoys baking fresh new recipes, sunny days at the beach, and snuggling in for a movie night. She works as an elementary teacher and her seven years as an educator have given her hands-on experience for how to care for a wide range of children with differing personalities and abilities. Ashlee is going to make an amazing mom! She is really looking forward to reading bedtime stories, sharing holiday traditions, and helping our child succeed in his/her education!
We live in a 2 bed/2 bath townhouse in a safe, family-friendly community. We have owned our home for five years. The street is lined with oak trees and we have a golf-course view. There is a beautiful park nearby and we are only 15 minutes away from our church/work. We are also only 20 minutes from some of Florida’s most beautiful beaches. During the Christmas season, there is a neighborhood holiday party and a lot of families decorate their homes with lights! In the summer, 4th of July fireworks are set off at the park and can be seen perfectly from our community pool.
Family is very important to us and we love getting together with them whenever able. Regis’ parents live only 10 minutes away and Ashlee’s family lives just an easy two-hour drive away (perfect for weekend visits). In the summer, we enjoy trips to the family cabin in the Smoky Mountains and in the winter, trips to Disney World.
Our families are both thrilled about our adoption!
On Ashlee’s side of the family, everyone is so excited to welcome the first grandchild! While Regis’ side is thrilled to welcome another little one to the family! There are already little cousins to play with (our sweet 2-year-old nephew and newborn niece)!
We promise to love your child unconditionally and always speak openly about you. We are open to letters, pictures, and planned visits at the level you are most comfortable with. We promise to raise your child up in a Christ-centered home. We will seek to give your child wonderful memories through traveling, time spent with friends and family, and extracurricular activities that interest him or her. We will put your child’s safety and wellbeing above our own and make sure he or she receives a good education. We promise to pray for you and your child regularly. Thank you for taking the time to read through our profile. We look forward to learning about you and your child!

More About Our Family
Our Christian Faith & Values
Our faith in God is the most important aspect of our life and our aim is to raise our child up in the training and instruction of the Lord. Regis recently finished up seminary classes to obtain his master’s degree in pastoral studies. Our life revolves around ministry and we absolutely love it! Currently, Regis serves as the Director of Children's Ministries at our church and Ashlee works at the church's Christian school. We feel so blessed to serve and work together. We attend church every Sunday and this is something we prioritize. Regis also runs the Awana children's program on Wednesday evenings, as well as the Vacation Bible School in the summer. We look forward to sharing all of this with our child and getting him or her involved in all the wonderful ministries our church offers!
Some of our family values are...
Our Traveling Adventures
We love to travel and explore new places! Whether it’s taking a cruise, flying to a big city, or driving through a national park -- we love it all!
Our family has a cabin in the Tennessee Smoky Mountains that we love to spend summer vacations at, and we also have family members who live in California, so we try to visit there as often as we can. For quicker trips, we really enjoy road tripping around Florida. When we travel, we like to make our visits both educational and fun! We look forward to sharing our traveling adventures with our child!
Our Supportive Community
Our church/school community is a very important part of our life! With Regis working at the church and Ashlee teaching at the school, we spend a lot of time there. We love that our church and school community feel like our second family. We know the church will offer our child lots of opportunities to learn about God's love and make sweet friends on Sunday mornings, Awana Wednesday nights, and Vacation Bible School in the summertime! The award-winning school will give our child an amazing education taught from a Christian worldview and provide opportunities for extra-curricular activities that interest him or her. Above all, our tight-knit school and church community will provide our child with so much love and support as he or she grows!
Our Life in Florida
There are so many things we love about living in Florida! At the top of our list would probably be the year-round sunshine. We love to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather. The park across the street is a great place to go for a walk or ride bikes. It also has a very nice playground and kids’ sports leagues. We also enjoy the convenience of grabbing some chairs and sunscreen and heading to the beach for a few hours on the weekends. Our home is only 20 minutes from the beach! We look forward to building sandcastles, seashell hunting, and playing in the waves with our child as he/she grows! Additionally, we plan on making sweet family memories on trips to Disney World and teaching our child to appreciate Florida’s natural beauty by exploring state parks and springs. We foresee many fun family days with our child in the beautiful sunshine!
