A Letter from Bobby & Andrea
We are a happy, fun and active family of 5 excited to grow our family once more through the joy of adoption. We have created an amazing place of acceptance, support, and belonging for ourselves and our children. We look forward to welcoming your child into our loving family.
We met 21 years ago as young college kids at a Halloween party! We always knew adoption would be part of our family and, after 10 years of marriage, we decided to add to our family. We have adopted three gorgeously amazing children! Kemari, 17, Truman, 9, and Isaac, 7. Kemari continued to have contact with his birth parents and we continue to send yearly picture updates to both Truman and Isaac’s birth mothers.
We love being active together! We enjoy working out in our home gym while the kids play outside. We have so much fun exploring and hiking all of the amazing trailheads in Utah as a family. We enjoy boating on the lake, attending outdoor concerts and going out to the movies as a family. We also spend a lot of time going to practices, games, and recitals. In the “in between times”, we host family/friend BBQS and game nights.
Andrea has four siblings and grew up in a small Midwest town. She works as the Executive Director for a Home Health and Hospice agency.
Andrea enjoys playing games of all kinds!! She loves to compete and watch her children in their numerous activities. She enjoys going to outdoor concerts as music is a huge passion of hers. Andrea has always dreamed of having a large, active household filled with love, laughter and a bit of chaos! She is excited to add more love to family holiday traditions, family vacations, and all of the BIG life moments. She looks forward to the everyday hugs, snuggles and the quiet moments of rocking your child to sleep.
Bobby has three siblings and was raised in a big city in the Midwest. He works in Facility Operations with the US Army as a civilian. Bobby served for numerous years as an active duty Army Officer.
Bobby is an athlete that loves fitness and any activity that gets him up and moving! He is always coaching one of the kids’ teams. He is a history and current affairs buff and enjoys trivia. Bobby works with groups to defend the rights of minority and underprivileged groups/persons. He is excited to share his love of sports and watch your child get doted on by the whole family!
Bobby and Andrea have three children who are all uniquely amazing. Kemari is 17 years old and enjoys playing both varsity basketball and football and hopes to play one, if not both, in college. Truman is 9 years old and, like Kemari, is an exceptional athlete and caring person. Truman is a natural leader and serves as a positive influence for all of his friends and teammates. Isaac is 7 years old and loves all things glittery and has a love of dance and cheerleading. He is true to himself and his smile and energy serve as a light for all those around him. The children are all so excited for this adoption!
Bobby and Andrea have a large extended family who are all looking forward to welcoming another member!! Your child will have 10 aunts & uncles, 3 sets of grandparents and tons of cousins to grow up with!!
We live in a 6 bedrooms, 5000 square foot house on 1 acre of land down a private gravel road. We have the best of both worlds living in the heart of the town and surrounded by horse property. Our neighbors have a true “baby animal” farm with goats, chickens, horses, ponies and more! The large private property enables our children to get outside and PLAY! We enjoy the safety and security of “life down the lane” as we like to call it.
Our house boasts a full-size sand volleyball court, hot tub, batting cage, basketball court, outdoor playhouse with electricity, commercial grade gym, ping pong table, air hockey table, 2 playrooms and room to explore!
We vow that your children will always know our love as well as God’s love. We will encourage them to pursue that which evokes passion in their soul. We will encourage acceptance for others and teach them right from wrong. We will encourage them to be exactly the person they were born to be. We will always be “their soft place to land” when hardships come their way and be there to support them in all that they do.

|Favorite quote||“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”||People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway. If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway. What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway. Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.|

More About Our Family
Our Special Interests
We love being active together! We enjoy working out in our home gym while the kids play outside. We have so much fun exploring and hiking all of the amazing trail heads in Utah. We unwind with one another either on the lake while boating or at outdoor concerts.
We spend a ton of time as a family. So, I guess you could say that our special interests are watching our oldest son play basketball, or our middle son on the baseball diamond or our youngest child shining on stage while dancing ballet/hip hop/jazz! Our most favorite interest is our family and we think it's pretty special.
Christ is at the heart of our marriage and our family. He guides every decision we make. He serves as a moral and ethical guide in our lives. We don't view our religion as something that should be confined to church walls and only expressed on Sundays. We try to live our faith each day in the way we treat others and ourselves. We strive to see each person as Jesus views them with true acceptance and no judgement. We use our faith as a tool for love rather than division and pretense. We have an unshakable belief in the Lord. We are humbled by His Love and give him all the glory!
Our Parenting Philosophy
Our parenting is driven by one simple goal which is enabling our children to be the best and happiest people they can be. The focal point of this philosophy is making sure that each of children is involved in some sort of special activity throughout the year. This activity can be a sport, dance, drama, or whatever else peaks their interest. Through these special activities our children learn work as a group with kids and learn to deal with the success and failures that life brings.
Our Support Network
Being from the Midwest originally, we have been taught since a young age that nothing is more important than F-A-M-I-L-Y! Even though our family is States away, we talk regularly and see each other often! It is incredibly important to us that our children have aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents in their lives.
In terms of our everyday support network, we have an amazing group of families that have become our chosen family. Our children attend a Christian private school that has an extremely tight knit community. The 60 acre campus is home to the high school, middle school, elementary school, daycare and church. They offer numerous after school and summer activities! Rarely does a day go by that we aren't at some type of social event or activity with the kids and our/their friends!
We have three children who are all uniquely amazing and special kids. Kemari is 17 years old and a phenomenal student, athlete, and friend. He plays both varsity basketball and football and will likely play one if not both in college. Truman is 9 years old and like Kemari is an exceptional athlete and caring person. Truman is a natural leader and serves as a positive influence for all of his friends and teammates. Isaac is 7 years old and if there is one word to describe him it would be unique. Isaac loves all things glittery and has a love of dance and cheer leading. He is true to himself and his smile and energy serve as a light for all those around him!
We live in the state of...
We live in beautiful Utah! Surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, lakes and some of the best scenery the U.S. has to offer! In addition to the amazing outdoor opportunities our state has to offer, we also live by professional sports teams, amusement parks, concerts and more.
We love our country oasis in the middle of the city!
A day in the life...
Typical days in our family are filled with school for the kids and work for mom and dad. We are blessed to work only a few hours each and are able to take the kids to school in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon. Then its back home for some snack time and relaxing. On most evenings we have practices, recitals, or games for at least of our kids’ activities. When the day ends, we make sure to end the night with some quality family time playing a game or watching one of the kid’s favorite shows.
